OUR STORY

Terrell’s Creole Snacks commemorates our grandparents (Papa and Grandma Frankie) formally named “James Terrell and Frankie Ashton Terrell) and their sense of living off the land where they made and called home in Louisiana. From the catches of fish, to the raising of animals, the gardens they tended and grew, to the fruit trees canvassing the home which included pecan, papier-mâché pecan, peach, plum and figs.

The “Tree” symbolizes the importance of how our parents and grandparents laid the groundwork and instilled the sense of us being spiritual, thankful, grateful, productive, creative, humble, good stewards, communal and hospitable. Those planted roots have extended and established themselves in the forms of ever reaching branches which represent growth and legacy still being carried out by their love and good works.

WE represent those branches and how each of us carry on our ancestors, present or passed, in some capacity through love, food, thought and hospitality. We have produced, shared and provided comfort through use of these gifts, talents and fruits and through these goodies we would like you to “Come on in. Have a seat and eat! We’re Always In The Kitchen!”

Enjoy Bebe!
