Our Roots
Earline Terrell Jackson
Earline's Pralines
My Mama learned to make these tasty, rich, buttery sweets from her mother (Grandma Frankie). She loved being in the kitchen with both of her parents. Occasionally, enjoying a cup of coffee with them before school. Curiosity and coffee in the kitchen is how this sweet treat began and has been handed down for generations ... Legacy & Love.
Beverly Terrell Dixon
Bev's Rose Pecans
Aunt Beverly treasured her homemaking time with her parents, also. But she gleaned a "green thumb" from her mother when it came to nurturing flowers and plants. Roses were her favorite as her daughters (Charmaine and Carla) can attest to from her gardens at home. A rose by any other name simply is Aunt Beverly.

Uncle Bug's Brittle
Uncle Bug is every Mama’s Boy. He loved his mother, Frankie, and gleaned how to fix on things by watching his Father, James. Grandma Frankie often asked of him to fetch her a peanut brittle and a Coke from the neighborhood store. He gladly obliged her. Out of both parents came his ability to give and serve his community be it fixing on cars (Loves automobiles!) or any other mechanical issues encountered. Grabbing a homemade snack in between doing these odd jobs for others is how this brittle bite comes to life.
Mary Belle Terrell Davis
Mary Belle's Spicy Nuts
Aunt Mary Belle (fondly aka as "Aunt Tit") exuded and literally captivated "The Spice of Life!" Her love for cooking was a gift. She looooooved ALL things seafood and especially enjoyed the holidays. She was also everyone's food critic when it came to dining out or if you prepared something new. She either LOVED IT or NOT! She also had a deep love for spicy boiled peanuts ... So, in commemoration of her good taste in all things food, we have curated this flavorful nut snack which we think she would have been please with. S.I.H. (Snacking in Heaven).
